Yes, there’s a free tier and it doesn’t ask for a card. You can run practice sessions and work through sample lessons without signing in at all. Paid plans unlock the full lesson library, unlimited backtesting and trade analytics.

Neither, quite. Paper trading follows the live market in real time; Praxys replays real historical charts, so the same setup can be repeated until you’ve learned it. No real money is ever at risk, and Praxys is not a broker — nothing you do here places an order anywhere.

No. You can practise, backtest and complete every lesson with no broker connection at all. If you already trade live, you can optionally connect one read-only so Praxys can analyse your closed trades — it can never place, modify or cancel an order.

Most simulators score your outcome — win rate, expectancy, profit factor. Praxys scores your discipline: whether you followed the rules you set before the trade, and which specific habit broke them. It names the behaviour, prices it, and queues the lesson that addresses it. The same analysis runs on your real trades if you connect a broker read-only.
